| On Off
This patten is also used as the power on self test for when you turn the tree on. We designed it so that you can immediately tell if all the LEDs are functioning. The sequence consists of only 3 states, each of which last about 2 seconds so that it takes 6 seconds to complete a full on/off cycle. When in automatic cycle mode, the tree wll glow on and off 5 times before advancing on to the next pattern. |

| Drip
The Drip pattern is one of the most complex on the tree lasting a full 15 seconds. During the first 14.5 seconds, a single drop of water grows and then falls along the center of the tree, filling it up drop by drop. When the tree becomes "full", it then spends half a second "draining" the tree from top to bottom. This pattern is not done by a table but by custom code which maps the location of all the LEDs on the tree. On automatic cycle mode, once the tree has filled up twice it advances on to the next pattern. |

| Power DownThis patten is used to indicate that the tree is powering down. You only see it when you press the "change pattern" button when the tree has been running for a while. If you press the"change pattern" button while this pattern is still running you will advance to the next pattern. Otherwise once the pattern finishes, the tree completely powers down. |
