| Cycle Down
This pattern marches the lights down from the top of the tree. It has a total of 8 states which take a little over 1/4 a second It is one of the most compact patterns because it takes advantage of the symmetry in the LED designs such that the same LEDs in each row are turned on for all columns. When in automatic sequence mode, this pattern runs 11 times before advancing on to the next one. |

| One Color
This pattern turns on all LEDs of the same color at one time. It consists of 6 steps that each take just under half a second. The original version of this pattern was very slow running about 3 seconds per color but my wife complained about the "anticipation" pattern and I was forced to speed it up. This is an excellent pattern to show that you got all the right color LEDs in the right place. This pattern runs through 10 cycles of all 4 colors before advancing to the next pattern when in automatic cycle mode. |

| Swing
This patten is representative of a pendulum. It consists of 10 steps that take about 1/4 second each step. The pattern stops at each edge to give that feeling of the pendulum slowing and turning around. Although the LEDs aren't perfectly in line for part of the swing, the speed and the use of half intensity keeps the illusion of a swinging arm. When in automatic pattern mode, once the arm has swung back and forth has run 12 times it advances on to the next pattern. |
