| Glowing
The glowing pattern is a slow random pattern where the LEDs are turned on and off at a very slow rate. Each LED gets a different random number for the speed which can be as fast as .5 seconds and as long as 3.5 seconds. During half of the interval, the LEDs are slowly glowed to full brightness and then faded to darkness. The only difference between this and the Blinking pattern is that the LEDs are turned glow on and off slowly. |

| Star
The star pattern was created by my daughter in about an hour using the Excel spreadsheet template. It has 8 steps that run a little under half a second each with the light spreading out from the center. When in the automatic sequence mode, the star burst happens a cool dozen times before advancing to the next pattern. |

| Marquis
This patten is used to indicate that you are at the start of the automatic sequence mode. It consists of only 6 steps that all are run in about 8/10ths of a second. The sequence is designed so that it automatically wraps giving the illusion of the LEDs marching around the edge of the tree. A real astute observer may notice that the two green LEDs on the bottom of the tree both end up on at the same time because there isn't actually a perfect multiple of 3 LEDs around the edge of the tree. Once the Marquis has run 44 times it advances on to the next pattern. |
